St. Lawrence UniversityOffice of Quality Assurance
Files, folders and notes must be approved by Quality Assurance before students can use them — on every course. Quizzes, assignments, exams and live teaching stay with lecturers.
How document approval works
Applies to files, folders and notes on every course unit in the LMS.
1
Lecturer uploads
Teaching staff add files, folders and notes (pages/books) to any course.
2
QA reviews
The Office of Quality Assurance checks quality, clarity and academic standards.
3
Students access
Only approved files, folders and notes are released. Pending or rejected items stay hidden.
Lecturer-controlled (no QA hold)
Quizzes, assignments, exams, Google Meet, Zoom, BigBlueButton and similar tools stay with lecturers — they do not pass through Quality Assurance.
